Inner Theater offers the possibility for profound healing breakthroughs —by combining visualization with the systematic, mindful “tapping” power of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). With skillful application of Inner Theater principles, we can learn to consistently trust and allow our bodies to show us what needs our attention, lead us towards new solutions and offer life-changing personal transformation. Whatever your personal emotional or physical challenge, we offer the possibility that an Inner Theater session or experience may be just what is needed to get you into deeper touch with your body’s knowing.
“Your body is your subconscious mind.”

What is Inner Theatre?
In our experience, the Inner Theater process helps empower people to alter their perspective, let go of physical and emotional pain more easily and naturally gain the strength and courage to initiate needed changes. In an Inner Theatre session, privately or 1-to-1 with a skilled practitioner, clients are able to let go of emotional baggage, change their perspective and feel better – often in relatively short period of time.
The Power of Two Streams
Inner Theater brings together two powerful streams from the healing arts, the visual approach of hypnotherapy and the body-centered, mindful “tapping” therapy of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).
The tradition of hypnotherapy has long known the power of our inner imagery. As we move into the right brain and the imagination and allow our issue to take the form of pictures in the inner world, this is a direct line into the deeper mind. Imagery is the language of the subconscious and our own imagery seems to come from a place of deep wisdom.
Once we allow inner imagery a life of its own, we then respond to the images with tapping. EFT is amazingly effective at powerfully moving energy and facilitating healing. As a gentle fingertip tapping is woven seamlessly into the inner experience, we can release negative emotion in a safe way, move things along and support the unfolding of a healing process. The combination of these two methods is very exciting as, over and over, we see deep transformation and unexpected solutions emerging from this work.
Inner Theater changes lives
from Betty Moore-Hafter:
I believe that the great discovery of Inner Theater is that when you respond to personal imagery with tapping, the images change and things transform. We don’t know where they are going, but the deeper mind is at work and something healing is happening. A wonderful feature of Inner Theater is that it frees you from the need to figure things out. We don’t have to know what to do next; the images have a life of their own. As we respond to the images with tapping, it is as if we are facilitating a pure healing process which comes from a very wise part of us. The subconscious holds the roots of our problems and the emotional core of our issues. As we allow the subconscious to work through imagery and we support that process by tapping along, amazing things happen and the whole issue is often transformed. We invite you to read the Inner Theater stories in the Articles section to get an idea of just how creative and fascinating the deeper mind can be. Best of all, people report that the results are deep and lasting.
Another discovery of Inner Theater is how easily people go there. EFT alone seems to stir the deeper mind and often images arise spontaneously. With Inner Theater, we may do a conventional EFT session and simply circle into the imagery from time to time. There are also beautiful frames that we can offer such as the Sacred Space, the Healing Room or the Inner Meeting Place. In those approaches, we may go into the inner world for the entire session. Inner Theater work often becomes inner child healing as the images may lead us to younger parts of ourselves. In order for EFT to flow easily and naturally, we have developed a whole new tapping language of inviting, allowing and responding, which we teach in our Inner Theater Training Workshops. EFT is wonderfully flexible and easy to apply in this new way with our variations on the language.
Imagine…
Imagine standing in a lush forest, surrounded by tall trees. From your vantage point, what do you see? Notice what captures your gaze. Listen for what you hear and tune in to how you feel about being there. As you imagine this scene fully – in whatever way you can, you are reaching out with your inner senses and potentially embarking on your own Inner Theater adventure…
